About the role
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Define the test approach, scope, and resource needs while ensuring alignment with program plans and release schedules.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including environment preparation and issue resolution.</li><li>Lead and coach a team of onshore and offshore testers to foster a high-performance and collaborative environment.</li><li>Manage the defect lifecycle by tracking, prioritizing, and driving resolutions in collaboration with development and business teams.</li><li>Produce concise test dashboards and quality metrics to support informed Go/No-Go decision-making.</li><li>Implement continuous improvements in testing standards and methodologies based on industry best practices.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in functional software testing.</li><li>3+ years leading test strategy, planning, and execution.</li><li>3+ years of experience as a <strong>Product Owner</strong> or equivalent in <strong>Agile</strong> environments.</li><li>2+ years coordinating or supervising <strong>User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</strong> activities.</li><li>1+ years of experience in the railway or transportation sector, specifically within planning departments.</li><li>Experience working with distributed or offshore teams to deliver QA objectives.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Jira</strong> and <strong>Confluence</strong> for project tracking and documentation.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Postman</strong> for <strong>API testing</strong> and <strong>SQL</strong> for data validation.</li><li>You possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex defect lifecycles.</li><li>You are fluent in <strong>English</strong> with full professional proficiency in <strong>French</strong> or <strong>Dutch</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to identify automation opportunities based on risk and ROI.</li><li>Practical experience with regression, integration, and E2E testing in complex environments.</li></ul>
