We are looking for a Program Manager: Security Architecture to join our Information Security (InfoSec) team. The InfoSec team leads the strategy, policy, and programs for information security company-wide. Our responsibilities include risk management, customer trust, recommending and implementing security controls, preventing and detecting security threats, and handling incident response. We do all of this in a globally distributed company, thinking differently about how we best achieve critical information security objectives.

What you will be doing:

• Play a pivotal role in driving successful delivery of the Information Security Architecture roadmap.
• Working closely with our Security Architects and collaborating across all Elastic functions, including Engineering, IT, and Legal, to continuously improve and mature the Elastic control environment.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, while effectively communicating progress, risks, and prioritization trade-offs to senior management and Security Architects.
• Support the implementation of effective security controls and drive maturity initiatives for Security Architecture services, helping to drive adoption of security tooling and practices.

What you bring along:

• Proven experience driving Information Security initiatives in a globally distributed team.
• Highly-developed organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, effectively manage and communicate dependencies, and anticipate and resolve prioritization conflicts.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud security architecture principles, frameworks, and practices.
• A passion for leading and partnering with fast paced engineering teams using cloud native technologies (Kubernetes, APIs, Microservices), and modern engineering practices like Infrastructure-as-Code, Compliance-as-Code, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, or FedRAMP/NIST 800-53.
• Double Bonus points if you have the experience above in a growing SaaS company!
