Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking two skilled Painting Technicians for multifamily properties across our Western Pennsylvania properties, including Pittsburgh, Bellevue, Moon Township, South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, and Beaver Falls. These painters will support on-site teams by providing expert-level preparation and finish work on all assigned painting and capital expenditure projects across the multifamily portfolio. Pay and Benefits

  • $22-30/hour, weekly

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned painting work orders (surface preparation, paint application, paint mixing)
  • Maintain Company Vehicle, Equipment, and Inventory
  • Training and Talent Development (Share painting best practices and techniques)
  • Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States 
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Personal and reliable mode of transportation
  • Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
  • Safely utilize power tools
  • Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases

Skills

  • Well-rounded skill set in painting techniques
    • Surface preparation (patching, sanding, caulking, priming, cleaning)
    • Familiarity and skill with paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
    • Skill in mixing and matching paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
    • Repairing drywall, plaster, and wood surfaces as needed to ensure a smooth finish
