Responsibilities
• Coordinates development of sales objectives, strategies and ensures execution for national accounts.
• Develops, researches, evaluates, and prioritizes current and potential national account for sales growth.
• Work with branch locations and sales teams to identify, service and grow business with multi location customers.
• Reviews customers’ needs, market, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates to develop supply and contractual agreements.
• Creates and conducts presentations for decision makers of national corporations, demonstrating how Harrington’s capabilities and roles can add value to their business.
• Negotiates based on values, opportunities and assimilation of national accounts requirements and client’s goals and objectives.
• Drafts Supply Agreement Contract including introductions, purchase orders, agreement period, pricing, delivery, quality, payment, warranty, insurance/indemnification, force majeure, termination, notification, confidentiality, drawings/tooling/equipment, goods return/sellback, import/export, business reviews, survival, applicable laws and regulations, forum for enforcement/disputes, product specific pricing (multipliers), rebates/incentives, distribution locations and complete terms and conditions.
• Executes Contracts and Rollout Programs including announcements, literature, training meeting, inventory requirements, etc.
• Maintains National Accounts information and documentation on Fastrack in conjunction with inside team.
• Maintains original contracts.
• Visits national accounts quarterly to review performance, business transacted and identify and resolve contract and or performance issues.
• Identify current share of wallet and growth opportunities within accounts under National Accounts
• Meets with national accounts annually for renegotiation.
• In conjunction with inside team creates, reviews, and approves e-catalog for National Accounts.
• Represents company at industry association meetings and trade shows to promote company.
• Assists other departments in preparing manuals and technical publications for National Accounts.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports, tracking performance, sales goals, and rebate incentives for national accounts distribution.
• Amends contracts when necessary.
• Acts as liaison between sales, national accounts, and other departments.
Requirements
• 2-5 years experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution in the pipe, valve and fitting industry preferred.
• 2-3 years of National Accounts management experience
• 2-3 years of contractor sales experience
