Registered Nurse Operating Room – West Palm Beach, FL

• Compensation: $36.57 - $51.34 per hour (based on experience)
• Location: West Palm Beach, FL
• Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Days, Rotating Weekends)

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team in West Palm Beach. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal patient outcomes through monitoring, administering care, and maintaining surgical equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment & Monitoring:

  • Assess patient condition during surgical procedures and report any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures as directed by the medical provider.

• Documentation & Medication:

  • Accurately document the administration of care in the patient’s medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor the patient’s response.

• Equipment & Procedures:

  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and surgical equipment used in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensing:
  • Current State of Florida Registered Nurse License or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification (via American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of acute care hospital OR experience (Surgery Center candidates will not be considered).
• Additional Requirements:
  • Call required.
  • Fingerprinting required.

Position Details:

• Operating Room: 5-6 OR Suites, performing 10-15 cases daily, including Robotics, Ortho-Spine, Ortho, and OBGYN services.
• Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
• Call Pay: $4.50 per hour.
