What is The Role

We’re always on the search for amazing people. People who have deep passion for what they do and are masters at their craft. Right now we are looking for a Technical Product/Program Manager to join our Elastic IT Team. The team is responsible for supporting critical business operations while pushing the limits of our various SaaS platforms. This role creates real value to our customers, both internal and external, by owning complex impactful projects such as centralising our business on a new common customer portal with an integrated billing engine.

You balance critical thinking on achievement of project goals with hands-on delivery to ensure what needs to happen today gets done. We’re looking for people with strong influencing and customer service skills who are effective collaborating with multiple teams and building strong relationships with partners!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain standards for project management activities including, but not limited to, capturing requirements, establishing frequent communications, detailed documentation, identifying risks, and accurate timelines
• Plan, manage, and schedule software delivery through the release lifecycle
• Be a conduit for communication, coordinating project meetings with partners as well as regular communications with the Business Systems teams
• Manage/Supervise QA processes to ensure projects meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Support the creation/management of projects/users/workflows/reports in our project management platforms
• Work within a hybrid agile/waterfall development environment, updating stories and Kanban Boards, as well as detailed project plans and roadmaps to drive visibility and timeline completion of scheduled work
• Be an integral part of a highly technical team with high expectations on their ability to deliver quality tools on a regular basis

What You Bring Along:

• Minimum 8 years project / program management experience (SaaS applications, Software development, consulting)
• Minimum 3 years leading multiple large projects in an enterprise environment including partners from all different levels of leadership
• Combination of technical project management, testing management, release management and operational excellence
• Previous experience with Agile Methodologies
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex system functionality for the business user

Bonus Points:

• Any Project Management, Agile, Testing Certifications (i.e. PMP, CSM, etc.)
• Release Management experience
• Test Management experience
• Experience using various PM tools including ServiceNow SPM, Jira, and Confluence

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
