Core One is seeking SOF Basing & Posture Subject Matter Experts to support the program. This position requires an active TS clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Furnish pertinent, on-site Special Operations Forces (SOF) posture Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to facilitate, coordinate, and engage in all activities related to global SOF posture matters. 
• Deliver briefings, updates, and actively participate in mandated meetings, engagements, and coordination efforts that contribute to the production of required deliverables. 
• Conduct strategic analyses and command assessments, aimed at providing senior leaders with the profound situational understanding essential for making timely and critical decisions within the SOF Enterprise. 
• Offer SMEs comprehensive knowledge of the joint strategic planning system, operations art, and operational design. 
• Aid in the development of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) strategic documents by contributing subject matter expertise, assisting in document preparation and coordination, conducting in-depth analysis of strategic factors, gathering and analyzing data, participating in seminars, symposia, conferences, and engaging in war-game activities.

 

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of three years of operational experience within a Theater Special Operations Command, with a preference for skills and experience in either J3 or J5 staff roles.
• Exhibit exceptional writing and briefing skills, capable of performing at a level of excellence expected at a 4-star command.
• One or more areas preferred: Accumulate five or more years of experience in Special Operations Forces (SOF), accumulate four or more years of experience at a Combatant Command (CCMD) or Service level, have completed Joint Professional Military Education Level II (JPME II) or graduated from a War College program. 
• Maintain an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
