Life Enrichment AssistantJob description Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting with dementia care, activities of daily living (ADLs), and various aspects of caregiving within a retirement communityResponsibilities: - Assist in providing personalized care and support to residents, focusing on dementia care and memory care techniques.- Aid in activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility assistance.- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.- Participate in aging issues counseling and recreational therapy activities.- Support event planning and coordination for residents' engagement and social interactions.Experience: - Prior experience in dementia care, memory care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.- Familiarity with aging issues counseling and recreational therapy practices.- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to individuals in need.- Knowledge of caregiving principles and best practices within nursing home or assisted living environments.
