Description:
Must be a licensed and registered Clinical Dietitian in the state of Indiana to be considered for this position.
Promotes Business Unit services to drive referrals from IU Health and Non IU Health hospitals, physician offices and clinics within an assigned territory. Responsible for Business Unit referral growth and retention. Serves as a liaison between referring providers and the Business Unit. Identifies opportunities for program growth and participates in the development of market strategies. Plans, organizes and implements product line education individualized to provider needs. Successful engagement of referral sources is accomplished by developing and maintaining relationships, demonstrating expertise, delivering on promises, and by becoming a trusted resource.
- This is a growth opportunity for a Dietitian with strong tube feeding and enteral supplement experience.
- This position will act as an in-person, Enteral Nutrition Liaison in the Lake County area.
- This position will facilitate inpatient and outpatient referrals to ensure patient/caregiver success at home, which may include navigating insurance coverage and patient tube feeding/pump education.
- Daily travel is required within the target area.
- Position requires cold calling and confidence in presenting information to groups.
- Position requires strong communication skills and a passion for building new relationships.
- The initial training period will be a combination of in-person at our downtown Indianapolis office and remote from home.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
- Requires knowledge of health services and clinical needs of targeted patient populations.
- Requires experience working directly with physicians.
- Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Requires the ability to travel in service area on a regular basis; overnight travel may be required.
- Sales experience preferred.
