Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
What You Will Do:
As a Logistics Analyst working with Patriot Field Reports (PFRs) and Field Bulletins (FB), you’ll be a highly effective team member receiving, responding to, or providing responses to field inquiries. You will assist with the Logistics Change Investigation Board (LCIB), which authorizes assignments, solutions, scheduling and closures of Logistics Investigation Requests (LIRs). You will be responsible for coordinating the communication of PFR responses to field locations and designated areas.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Provide field support to technical operations.
Coordination and tracking by receiving, responding to or causing responses to PFRs and field inquiries.
Providing focal communication between field facilities, field engineering, manufacturing, engineering and logistics support to resolve all field problems.
Document the change authority associated with each PFR such as Investigation Request (IR), Software Investigation Request (SIR), LIRs, FB, Change Notices and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
Coordinate Patriot Field Bulletins and the disseminating of information to designated Raytheon personnel and to Government Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) for official distribution to field personnel.
Additional Responsibilities will include:
Review PFR documentation and identify the issues and concerns presented from field personnel.
Provide management and technical oversight of the PFR/FBs being processed through the system.
This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Tewksbury, MA facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of Missile System Product Lines, such as Patriot, and the associated Major End Items with a general understanding of Life Cycle Engineering
Ability to review and understand Technical Data Packages as well as general understanding of Product Data Management (PDM).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Microsoft Office products skills
Excellent communication, organization and investigation skills required
Ability to work independently and to deliver accurate documentation under deadline
pressures
