Responsibilities:
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble plant equipment for sanitation during teardown and start-up.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance on various pieces of plant equipment and machinery, including oil changes, lubrication of bearings, chains, and overhead conveyor systems.
- Ability to adjust tensions on belts and chains.
- Knowledge of disconnects, air compressors, pumps, augers, plumbing, and lighting.
- Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a daily maintenance activity report of work performed.
Qualifications
Recommended Skill:
Knowledge and ability to perform Arc and Mig Weld
Qualifications:
- Requires basic mechanical abilities in relation to Industrial Maintenance.
- Must pass safety requirements including: confined space and lockout/tag out.
- Ability to read, understand and follow OSHA requirements on MSDS.
- Ability to read and understand all job hazards and food safety involving maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand preventative maintenance schedules and work orders related to equipment and machinery.
- Familiar with safety devices including air, steam and electrical shutoff
