As the Senior Manager of Demand-side Program Design and Analytics, you will be required to possess exceptional strategic planning, Utility Program Design, business development and sales operations skills. This position will work with the Demand-side team in market analytics, program management, program start-up, strategic planning, sales operations, and promoting energy efficiency solutions across our targeted markets in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a go-to-market sales plan which cultivates and targets business relationships in our targeted markets at all levels in a customer’s organization.
- Develop and execute the organization's analytics strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategic priorities and goals.
- Oversee and optimize processes, workflows, and systems to ensure effectiveness.
- Manage operational planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Collaborate with the finance team to align budget tracking and reporting.
- Act as the PMO for key programs related to operations effectiveness.
- Drive the development and use of analytical models and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, industry trends, etc.
- Understand and influence the customer buying process.
- Process, analyze and model sales and financial data
- Develop forecasting for goal setting, using past data and indicators
- Design, manage and administer sales representative compensation plans and incentives
- Manage technical tools and platforms, including CRMs (customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce), often in collaboration with IT
- Improve the reps' efficiency with leads, transactions, and time management
- Hire, onboard and mentor new employees
- Define sales processes, steps to improve conversions, shorten sales cycles, and maximize wins
- Play a key role in sales and operations planning (S&OP), a process where executives continuously align diverse functions in an organization
- Interpret analytics and research to increase closure rates
- Utilize internal data, along with market and competitor research, to help drive sales strategy and “hit the numbers”
- Use complex data sets requiring sophisticated analysis, for advanced interpretation and predictive analytics to drive strategy and actions
- Serve as a “chief of staff” to the revenue/sales leader
- Manage the sales operations function as a “center of excellence,” operating at the forefront of strategic leadership and decision making
- Develop a culture of data-driven decision-making, providing leadership and teams with the training, tools, and support needed to effectively leverage data analytics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of proven results in developing analytical solutions, demonstrating excellence in sales operations in the support of energy efficiency, performance contracts or other complex solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position, working hand in hand with executives to drive business strategy
- 2+ years supervisory experience required, directly or indirectly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, engineering, finance, or related field
- Demonstrated excellence at creating advanced financial models to analyze
