Technical Project Manager

<p>Job Title</p>Technical Project Manager<p></p><p>Currently we are looking for a candidate for a position of Technical Project Manager. The person on this position will coordinate deployment execution activities to production and pre-production/test environments with various stakeholders, own release/deploy calendar, planning events and handling unplanned requests, aligning with stakeholders and processes and define and evolve deploy and release best practices and standards, and partner with stakeholders on automation and tooling improvements.</p><p></p><p>In this role you'll be responsible for:</p><p></p><p>Specific accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Coordinate code deployment and validation activities with development, quality, tooling, and other teams, into multiple test environments as well as ultimately production environment deploy</li><li>Maintain and communicate release manifest, including compliance with release timelines and standards, as well as business/stakeholder release approvals</li><li>Drive and manage post-release support, retrospectives, and action items</li><li>Oversee/track code branching activities, database updates, deployment playbook, rehearsal activities, patching events, and change approval processes</li><li>Plan release cadence and calendar to meet business needs; maintain calendar upon changing needs and unplanned ad hoc release requests; define standard release activity timelines</li><li>Collaborate with tooling/technology teams and maintain knowledge on automation/integration of release/deploy activities best practices (i.e. CI/CD</li><li>Define release best practices and standards, development and deployment strategies/guidelines, and pursue continuous improvement with stakeholders</li></ul><p></p><p>Default accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Create and execute work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements</li><li>Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects</li><li>Ensure management of projects controls (risks, issues and dependencies)</li><li>Effectively apply the Amadeus project management methodology and enforces project standards</li><li>Ensure that the project is managed to budget, time and quality and that it delivers the benefits anticipated in the business case.
