Job Duties: This is professional work providing technical advice and analysis of modern methods of court management and programs related to the day-to-day functions and oversight of court records and jury management for the district courts of the Judicial Branch. Work involves responsibility for examining, formulating, and supervising modern administration methods and systems within the district courts including responsibility for planning, coordinating, developing, implementing, and supervision of new programs.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED (Position may not include all duties listed and duties listed may not cover all duties that may be performed.)
- Provides technical assistance and guidance for certified court records including court reporters and transcriptionist.
- Manages applications, certification, renewals, and complaints related to certified court reporters.
- Coordinates and staffs Board of Examiners of Court Reporters.
- Provides technical assistance and guidance for jury management system.
- Assists with ongoing maintenance and configuration of jury management system.
- Analyzes data related to jury service and operations.
- Analyzes existing and recommends new programs to improve district court operations.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends administrative needs for the district courts.
- Analyzes and provides training needs by conferring with court officials and by studying and analyzing court operation programs and other court services.
- Assists with managing current and ongoing pilot projects.
- Assists in developing policies and procedures related to court records and jury management.
Preferred Experiences, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Have at least three year of work experience within the court system including specific knowledge and experience with certified court records, transcription, and jury management.
- Have considerable knowledge of court procedures and policies, legal documents, laws, and legal factors pertaining to court records and jury management.
- Have considerable knowledge of court programs for the application of electronic data processing to court processes.
- Have considerable knowledge of the judicial and legislative processes and of state and local government structures,
