Job Description
The Contracting & Distribution Strategy (C&DS) Field Execution role plays a critical leadership role in the development of contracting confidence and execution with customers, amidst a highly competitive and dynamic market. This individual will be responsible for developing and driving the execution of both existing and new Public & Private Sector contracts and distribution logistics through collaboration with customer managers, brand teams, field sales leadership, Vaccines Portfolio Marmeting Team, Integrated Account Management, Learning and Development, Clinical Review Teams, Legal and Compliance. In addition, this individual will work closely with the Promotional teams/vendors to develop or optimize resources used by our customer-facing teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner with Sales Leadership in all aspects of preparation, planning and ongoing integration related to promotion and execution for all aspects of Contracting & Distribution Strategy business
Develop and communicate subject matter expertise in customer execution with all aspects of Contracting & Distribution Strategy scope of business
Collaborate with Field Sales and Sales Training to identify and prioritize training and development, including a communication cascade plan in conjunction with Director of Commercial Operations (DCO)Contracting point(s).
Collaborate with brand teams to understand priorities and synergies with commercial engagement.
Lead the development of resources through the promotional approval process; requires collaboration with commercial legal, compliance and potentially multiple brand Clinical Review Team
Leading the planning and development of resources, training plans & workshops for all field sales touch points such as semester meetings, launch meetings, and webcasts
Lead or participate in other developmental Contracting & Distribution Strategy initiatives as necessary
Note: While the position is listed as “hybrid”, remote work arrangements will be considered based on a candidate’s experience and individual circumstances.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required: Bachelor degree
Preferred: Master of Business Administration
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales / sales management, marketing, or marketing/field support roles
Customer-orientation, results-driven, focus on teamwork and collaboration
Strong leadership skills
Excellent project planning & management skills; strong analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Works effectively in fast paced and time constrained situations
Proven ability to drive execution
Business understanding & organizational awareness, cross-functional collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft office applications
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Sales Management Experience, preference for Vaccines
Promotion experience including bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review
Experience in or working with sales organizations
