For a maternity replacement we are currently looking for a Legal Counsel for a short term contract of one year.
Your Role
As a member of the Legal Department of Swiss Life Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Legal, you will cover a broad range of legal topics, in particular:
- Provide legal support and advice to the different departments of Swiss Life, for both Private Wealth and Employee Benefit matters
- Review and negotiate business-related agreements
- Manage complaints and litigations
- Conduct legal research and assist Swiss Life in relation to regulatory changes
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in law (mandatory); a Bar admission in an EU country would be appreciated
- Knowledge of the EU and local insurance / financial regulations is a requirement
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the life insurance / private banking sector or in an international business law firm
- Business fluency including contract drafting skills in English and French
- Experience of support to activities in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional situations
- Company secretarial experience would be appreciated
- Proactive approach, business acumen and strong team player, ability to question and willingness to progress
