Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.

This position is for a Quality Analyst performing software testing for Line of Business owned iLog and PowerCurve decision engines for First Mortgage, Home Equity and Consumer Vehicle Lending.

Responsibilities:

  • Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs

  • Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance

  • Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management

  • Review requirements and technical specifications, develop test plans, execution of test scripts, identify and document defects and provide daily updates to test leads and managers as needed

  • Develop and execute manual and automated testing

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience building test plans and test scripts and experience performing testing based on client requirements and technical designs

  • Strong working knowledge of the testing process and tools used for development, validation and documentation of test scripts, plans and results

  • Experience with Tools: Application Lifecycle Management; Octane; SOAP UI; SOAtest and Virtualize; SQL; JIRA; Bitbucket

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word)

Desired Skills:

  • Prior testing experience is preferred in Consumer Secured Lending Products (First Mortgage, Home Equity or Consumer Vehicle Lending)

  • Knowledge of iLog and PowerCurve rules engines

  • Knowledge of GenDart
