The Administrative Events Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both Human Resources and the 616 Fab House conference center. This position ensures the smooth operation of office and event activities by coordinating logistics, providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff, and maintaining an organized, welcoming environment. The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Job/Position main responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, tours, and events, including logistics and setup.
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide general office support.
- Prepare meeting spaces and operate basic multimedia/conference tools.
- Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and internal departments as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized office and event space.
- Assist with maintaining records and tracking participation in programs or events.
- May require occasional late nights or flexible hours during special events.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

- Basic computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, email, calendar.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; and 1-2 related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and process several abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to assess reasonableness of the analysis performed.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A valid Driver’s License is required.
