Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager position leads, performs, and oversees multiple complex projects and programs, working with various internal business and system partners to support the credentialing function within the broader scope of the provider contracting and onboarding organization.
Primary responsibilities include managing tactical and strategic projects/initiatives, research/problem solve for solutions and efficiencies in support of credentialing system applications from development through implementation.
Performs analysis and business requirements in supporting existing and new regulatory mandates, to ensure compliance with CMS, state/local, and accrediting (NCQA/URAC) body requirements.
Evaluates, assesses, and assists with vendor liaison function responsibilities for data intake and architecture, and involvement with RFP vendor assessments, presentations, and review/analysis.
- Develops and implements strategic project plan to achieve business goals
- Proactively leads project and/or business by setting direction of project, creating project plan, timeline identifying key milestones
- Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization
- Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (cross-functional/segment) and external parties (e.g., vendor management)
- Acts as an advocate for change and may require influencing others to see the value in project, including managing interpersonal sensitivities and articulating the strategic view to ensure project alignment
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in a formal Project Management position
- Ability to perform project management, business analysis, UAT, and deployment approvals
- Ability to think strategically across multiple lines of business
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Microsoft Teams)
- Innovative mindset with proven track record for identification and implementation of change
- Ability to set and achieve goals for multi-year initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and familiarity with credentialing operations and system applications (EPDB, EPC, CARDS, ECHS)
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $139,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
