Restaurant Cleaner (Part-Time, Permanent)

As a Cleaner at The Fork and Wheel Bar and Restaurant, you will ensure our restaurant, bar and back-of-house service areas are consistently clean, hygienic and well-presented for our guests and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise restaurant floors, tables, chairs, counters and high‑touch surfaces before service.

• Sweep, mop and, where required, vacuum floors in all designated areas (restaurant, bar, service corridors and back‑of‑house).

• Empty bins, manage recycling and dispose of waste safely.

• Clean doors, glass panels and entrance areas to maintain excellent first impressions.

• Support any scheduled deep‑cleaning tasks.

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following training, guidelines and all health & safety procedures.

• Report any maintenance, safety or hygiene issues promptly.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently during early‑morning shifts and manage your time effectively.

• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with manual tasks (standing, bending, lifting light equipment).

• Good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude when working with colleagues and guests.

Hours and Schedule

• 20 hours per week

• Wednesday to Sunday

• Morning shifts (exact times to be agreed based on business needs)
