General Information:
The Visiting Student Program Coordinator works within the Global Learning & Partnerships unit to provide operational and student support for short-term incoming international programs coordinated through the Center for Global Engagement (CGE), including the KyungDong University (KDU) program as a primary focus. The role supports student engagement, housing coordination, program logistics, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery and positive student experiences. This position requires strong organizational skills, cross-cultural awareness, and the ability to respond independently to program needs. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Global Learning & Partnerships.
--Work Schedule and Program Structure--
Work Hours: This wage position averages approximately 29 hours per week annually, not to exceed 1500 hours within a 12-month period. During active program periods, hours may temporarily increase up to 40 hours per week based on operational needs.
Appointment Period: This is a year-round position supporting ongoing short-term international programs. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, or university break periods when student cohorts are in residence. Time off is coordinated with supervisors to ensure program coverage.
Program Structure: Workload follows a cohort-based model, with responsibilities varying across pre-arrival preparation, active program delivery, and post-program wrap-up phases.
On-Call Responsibilities: Limited on-call responsibilities are expected during active program periods to assist with urgent student or housing-related situations.
