Strategic Business Analyst

PURPOSE
The Strategic Business Analyst will serve as a vital part of the organization in supporting strategic sales initiatives, as well as work on ad hoc projects. This entry-level position will assist with research and analysis of data related to various areas of the business. The
analyst will be focused on the sales health inside the organization and in the market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Responsible for sales analysis, validation, cleansing, collecting, and reporting
• Retrieve and analyze data, including manual files, internal data sources, and external data sources, to form metrics that support senior management decisions
• Respond to informational data inquiries from various teams within the organization
• Create, validate, and publish regularly scheduled and/or ad-hoc reports as needed
• Must be able to collect and track key program analytics and monitor/measure program performance
• Develop document reporting requirements and operational processes
• Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
• The position requires extensive work using a computer
• Maintain seated posture for 8 or more hours per day
• May require evening and weekend work in response to the needs of the systems and processes being supported
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Math, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
