We have an exciting direct hire opportunity for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia!
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machining and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagnostic skills and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-12:00am, Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm, with possible deviations based on business needs. New Hire Orientation and training will be completed on 1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment such as lathes, milling machines, cranes, conveyors, and compressors.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, industrial power distribution, motors, and lighting.
- Maintain and repair facility systems including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC.
- Apply proper lockout/tagout procedures to control hazardous energy.
- Conduct electrical measurements using a digital multimeter, insulation tester, or similar devices to diagnose and correct faults.
- Read and interpret machinery manuals, schematics, and flow charts for troubleshooting.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems.
- Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when working at height.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards regarding manufacturing and assembly equipment.
- Demonstrate understanding of mechanical alignment principles and use metrology tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical Technology preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical or industrial maintenance role (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Experience with CNC machinery preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license (must meet Busch insurance requirements).

Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check.
- Most felonies are disqualifying; misdemeanors considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE.
- Ability and willingness to travel (up to 5%) domestically and internationally.
- Ability to work off-hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
