About the role
ESSSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for executive level financial leadership and oversight to support the strategic planning and execution necessary to achieve our growth goals and objectives while supporting sustainable growth and profitability.
- Provides executive level leadership and oversight of the company’s financial, accounting, and audit functions, and the employees who manage these functions.
- Develops, implements, and oversee financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the attainment of the company’s goals and objectives company’s initiatives. Assists leadership with financial planning and decision making. Serves as a trusted resource to the executives team and the company. Effectively communicates with leadership and management.
- Develops, implements, and oversees financial plans, goals, objectives, and policies.
- Directs recruitment, development, retention of staff in accordance with budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
- Manages and oversees the company finances while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Ensures financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
- Responsible for reporting and forecasting of revenue and expenses. Reviews financial reports and statements, business activity reports, forecasts, and budgets. Reviews and monitors financial reports and details. Prepares, reviews, and approves forecasts and projections for employment, financial, and business needs.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce expenditure and ensure optimization and utilization of company resources including property, personnel, hardware, software and outsourced systems or staff.
- Provides assistance to organizational units, e.g., operations, marketing, technology divisions, staff regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources. Advises and assists management with financials and financial planning based on company plans, short-term and long-term objectives, financial objectives, and budgets.
- Directs activities associated with the security and investment of the organization’s assets and funds.
- Identifies opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources.
- Develops and maintains relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting entities and staff to facilitate financial activities.
- Participates in the identification, analysis, and selection of appropriate companies to acquire, partner, and/or form strategic alliances with. Reviews selections and makes necessary changes to ensure the ongoing success of these relationships.
- Formulates, oversees, and manages policies and procedures. Interprets company policies, purposes and goals to management staff.
- Responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity planning with key business stakeholders.
- Adheres to company policy as it relates to maintenance of confidential information and/or situations.
- Interacts in cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, clients and/or vendors in team-oriented environment.
- Travels on behalf of CDS Global as needed, required or requested.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested (or required).
EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Five or more years of successful experience in a business financial leadership position in business processing solutions, subscription management and order fulfillment, customer service, and/or other industry related to CDS Global businesses.
- High proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and financial and software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making. Able to navigate through complex financial situations to maximize results with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and treasury management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Experience conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and delivery skills. Excellent negotiating skills.
