Pay range from $32.07 if off shift will add an additional $1.10

Job Overview

Conducts initial and final inspection of machined parts in order to meet quality standards in the most cost-effective manner. 

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Experience in an Inspection environment (with gears a plus)

Computer experience a plus

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform first piece inspections
• Inspect all final dimensional characteristics prior to shipment
• Initiate reject reports & tags to identify discrepancies 
• Repair and calibrate gage & testing equipment
• Uses overhead cranes and hoists to move and position parts
• Assists engineers and supervision to make improvements to parts, methods, and fixturing

Additional Information

Use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists and overhead cranes, shop and personal measuring instruments, computer, etc.
