Position Summary

The incumbent assigned to this position is responsible for the professional nursing care, health, safety, and well-being of residents of Sunland Center. 

 

The Work You Will Do 

Performs direct nursing care functions as ordered/prescribed and in compliance with applicable policies. Ensures all treatments ordered by providers are carried out as prescribed. Serves as charge person in management for medical/psychiatric emergencies (i.e., Oxygen, Suction. CPR, Splints, Documentation of event, etc.) pending the arrival of the attending physician/EMS. Assesses and documents assessment of all resident complaints, reported or recognized changes in condition.  Ensures appropriate referrals to providers for residents requiring a higher
