About the role

<p>The Middleware Chapter focuses on promoting <b>best practices</b>, <b>sharing knowledge</b>, and establishing <b>standards and frameworks</b> for system integration. By providing guidance on APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure data flows, the Middleware Chapter ensures consistency and efficiency in how systems communicate. This approach helps create a solid foundation for scalable, reliable technology solutions across the organization, while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement among teams.</p><p></p><p>The candidate will be allocated to the <b>iPaaS integration platform</b> diverse cloud and on-premise systems. They will be involved in shaping the integration strategies for various internal systems, ensuring efficient data flow and seamless API management.</p><p></p><p><b>Required profile:</b></p><ul><li><span>At least bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with over <b><span>2-5 years</span></b> of application and data integration experience.</span></li><li><b>Strong knowledge of API connection methods</b>, including different ways systems communicate over the internet, as well as familiarity with tools for managing and securing these connections (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus)</li><li><b>Practical experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud</b>, understanding how to use its tools and resources</li><li><b>Hands-on experience with building and connecting APIs</b>, along with some exposure to cloud-based tools that help systems work together smoothly</li><li><b>Good understanding of coding languages</b>, with the ability to build and troubleshoot code when needed</li><li><b>Excellent English communication skills</b>, both spoken and written</li><li><span>Availability for traveling 10%+ of time</span></li><li><b>Experience with integrating technology systems</b>, especially using Microsoft Azure services (such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions)<span>.</span></li><li><b>Familiarity with how different systems work together</b>, including methods for processing data, handling multiple tasks, and managing events.</li><li><b>Understanding of industry standards for secure data sharing</b>, ensuring that information is safely and consistently managed</li><li><b>Experience with tools for managing code and automating workflows</b>, like Azure DevOps and GitHub</li><li><b>Comfort with widely used tools</b> for testing and documenting system connections, such as Postman and Swagger</li><li><b>Ability to work effectively with diverse teams globally</b>, adapting to different cultures and languages</li><li><b>Quick learner of new technologies and standards</b>, with the ability to keep up with industry changes</li><li><b>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</b>, able to engage with both technical experts and everyday users</li><li><b>Highly organized and self-motivated</b>, able to manage tasks independently and proactively</li><li><b>Experience with Agile or Scrum project methods</b>, which focus on collaboration and delivering in steps</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What the candidate will do in the product:</b></p><p></p><p>The candidate will design, implement, and maintain <b>integration solutions</b> for various cloud and on-premise systems. They will manage and optimize <b>APIs</b> and ensure that the integration platform is secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. The candidate will also collaborate with tech and business teams to define integration requirements and play a key role in building and operating <b>iPaaS</b> systems.</p><p></p><p><b>What the candidate will do in the Chapter:</b></p><p></p><p>In the <b>Middleware Chapter</b>, daily activities revolve around collaboration, knowledge sharing, and establishing best practices. Members focus on refining integration standards, reviewing and improving middleware frameworks, and ensuring systems are aligned with organizational goals. Chapter time is spent on technical workshops, discussions on industry trends, and addressing cross-team challenges related to APIs, event-driven architectures, and data flows.
