What You Will Do

• ​Have a good understanding of the Maintenance SOP’s
• Perform duties and tasks assigned by Team Coach
• Maintain good housekeeping in areas being worked in
• Utilize basic electrical/mechanical skills and troubleshooting to maintain equipment in proper working condition and running a maximum operating efficiency.
• Assist the Maintenance Department in providing the freedom from breakdowns during the manufacturing operations.
• Maintain equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operations.  Look for safer ways to run equipment.
• Assist the Maintenance Department in controlling of cost running the Maintenance Department.
• Reordering of spare parts used to fix a piece of equipment.
• Assist Production and Maintenance in the effort of continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Keep area production coaches and supervisors notified of raw material problems like defective film, bottle, etc.
• Member of the ERT Team.  Administer first aid and respond to emergency calls.
• Good understanding and follow safety rules
• Assist production to ensure that rates and quality levels are achieved or exceeded.
• Be able to fabricate items by basic description of what needed.
• Basic understanding of how-to start-up and run all equipment within assigned area.
• Basic understanding of how-to start-up and run all support equipment.
• Basic reading of blueprints and schematics, set up and Read multimeters 110- 480Volt. Testing lighting ballast and install lighting ballast
• Ability to use hand and power tools. Troubleshooting manual Bug Screen Door and Dock Door also troubleshooting electric dock door. Running and troubleshooting floor scrubber, ability to use a drain snake, repair to bathroom stalls, repair sinks and faucets, repair kitchen equipment, hanging pictures, whiteboards, general HVAC repairs,
• Assist Maintenance Department with electrical/mechanical skills for complex installation of new equipment and processes.
• Participation with other production/maintenance teams in the improvement projects/reduction of downtime.

Position Details

• Plant location: Greensboro, NC Plant
• This position will work 1st Shift Monday- Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• This position requires being available for emergencies 24/7
• Overtime is required, depending on business needs
• Compensation starting at $27.00 + Depending on Experience and Certifications

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Written and Verbal communication skills

• Requires 2 years of manufacturing facility maintenance experience

• Reading and Math skills - basic adding, subtraction, division, multiplications, fractions and percentages.

• Electrical, Mechanical and PLC troubleshooting

• Fabricating per instructions.
