Assistant RegistrarJob Description Summary
The Associate Registrar independently manages the office’s daily administrative functions to ensure a high level of support and excellent customer service for School of Nursing faculty, staff and students. The Associate Registrar is responsible for course section maintenance, registration, classroom scheduling, and course evaluations; updates student records; coordinates website updates for pages relevant to the office; posts tuition adjustments, fees, and fines to student accounts; and provides standard reporting for student and course data. The Associate Registrar provides backup to the Registrar as needed.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain student records- Leaves, Returns, Withdrawals, Change of Program, Submats. Manage student data & reporting. Process graduations.
- Maintain all School of Nursing course section offerings in CLSS and manage Course Evaluations, working closely with SON Registrar and SON Department Admins.
- Coordinate classroom scheduling for Nursing courses, final exams, and course-related meetings. Liaise with SON building manager and OUR Scheduling team for related tasks.
- Manage registration for all students, collaborating with OAA, SON departments, Program Directors, and students.
- Manage the day-to-day operations in the SON Registrar's Office.
- Manage billing, enrollment deposits, and course-related fees and fines.
- Assist SON Registrar in maintaining registration website.
- Perform Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and manage varied, complex tasks simultaneously; attention to detail and good organizational skills.
