Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our Non-Product Test Equipment and Machinery commodity team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall procurement activities for test equipment and machinery supporting the various Raytheon facilities. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers and functional areas to support a broad portfolio of projects across Raytheon. 

What You Will Do:

  • If applicable, work with supplier to prepare cost and pricing data in preparation for CAPA review in accordance with TINA
  • Formally document purchase orders including details of summary of award; source justification; price analysis methodology; negotiation strategy and summary; performance to budget / target; and risk assessment in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) requirements
  • Perform routine post-award management activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status (upkeep PO notes), expedites, risk mitigation, receiving issues and invoice issues.
  • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • May be required to participate in supplier development activity.
  • Able to support travel (up to 25%)

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • DoD procurement experience and working knowledge of Federal Acquisition
  • Strong negotiation skills - ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements)
  • Proficiency to perform and comprehend price and cost analysis, source selection/justification, and analysis of supplier quotation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills – influence, presence, ability to interface internally and externally with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent time management skills - manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet team performance cadence (purchase requisition/purchase order updates, purchase order placement cycle time, supplier on-time-delivery and other company metrics)
  • Demonstrated understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel domestically/internationally, if required
  • Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon systems, processes, and procedures
  • Level 4 acquisition certification
  • SAP experience
