Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Directs and Designs Discover marketing communications on assigned business lines by applying innovative thinking, ideation, leadership, concept development and functional expertise. Creates fresh, conceptually strong concepts that generate new customers, sell products/services and enhance a unified customer experience across all media. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


How You’ll Do It

  • Contributes to the conception, development, refinement and execution of on-strategy, on-time, high-stopping power creative that delivers on the Creative Brief and Business Partner objectives/key performance indicators. Be a steward of the Discover Brand Standards and ensure all designs have one brand and one voice across all media.
  • Attend project briefings and collaborate with Creative Team to art direct and design creative across a variety of channels, including print, digital, video, radio, social/content.
  • Manages time and produces consistently effective communications for multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Owns project details and ensure work is free of errors in fact, style or presentation prior to submittal to Business Partners.
  • Effectively disseminates client and legal changes and incorporate changes into creative, while complying with company/department requirements, policies and processes.
  • Be an expert at the file release process (both print and digital), creates unique bi-lines and approve proofs.
  • Pursues and participates in learning and skill development opportunities to further writing capabilities and brand expertise.
  • Lead and manage design projects to ensure visual alignment with brand strategies/business goals and key performance indicators
  • Present creative concepts and designs to stakeholders and upper management
  • Ability to identify and solve design problems and find creative solutions that meet stakeholder and project needs, while complying with company/department requirements, policies, and processes
  • Willingness to create and revise compelling PowerPoint presentations to enrich our team with their client and internal engagements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, producing consistently effective graphics while meeting both long-term and tight deadlines. This includes planning, scheduling, overseeing progress and ensuring projects are completed on or before deadlines.
  • Be an expert at the file release process (both print and digital) and comfortable approving proofs. Work with vendors, printers, and external agencies to ensure quality production of materials.
  • Comfortable speaking with and gathering information from high-level subject matter experts to translate complex business concepts, data, information and content into easily digestible, high-end infographics graphics and presentations

Qualifications You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or graphic design
