Join Our Team as Senior Director of Accounts Payable (P2P) – Lead Transformation, Innovation, and Operational Excellence!

Are you a visionary leader ready to transform a key financial function? We’re seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Director of Accounts Payable to drive the future of our centralized payables operations within the Enterprise Services Center (ESC). You’ll lead the charge in transforming processes, implementing cutting-edge technology, and ensuring robust controls while working across the business to align strategies and achieve operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with Vision: Oversee the strategy, management, and execution of the centralized payables functions, ensuring streamlined, compliant processes that meet business objectives.
• Drive Digital Transformation: Spearhead the implementation of innovative technology and digital solutions, including RPA and AI, to drive automation and enhance operational efficiency across the enterprise.
• M&A Integration & Transformation: Play a key role in post-acquisition integration and transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and aligning payables strategies with broader business goals.
• Collaborate & Align: Partner with Procurement to drive cross-enterprise efficiency and secure end-to-end processes, ensuring alignment between procurement and payables strategies to optimize business performance.
• Focus on Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, leading risk management strategies and overseeing audits to maintain a strong control environment and mitigate potential risks.
• Inspire & Develop Your Team: Lead, inspire, motivate, and develop the Payables team within a culture of continuous improvement, empowering your team members to reach their full potential while delivering top-tier results.

In Addition, You Will Own:

• Transformation & Innovation: Lead enterprise-wide process, policy, people capabilities, and technology transformation initiatives, redefining operational excellence across the payables function.
• Credit Card Administration: Manage a global credit card program of 3,400 holders, recommending and implementing improvements while collaborating with key stakeholders, including Procurement and the UK team.
• Master Data Management: Ensure master data compliance with financial reporting requirements, manage the Segregation of Duties (SOD) process, and oversee month-end/quarter-end close processes.
• Audit Coordination: Act as the liaison for internal and external audits, coordinating SOX reviews, updating control documentation, and implementing SOX guidance to ensure compliance.
• Lead Strategy & Operations: Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on system implementations and business integrations, designing and automating standardized processes to improve performance.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Leadership Expertise: With 10+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or transaction processing and at least 5 years in senior management, you have a proven ability to lead transformation and drive results.
• Strategic Mindset: You’re an innovative leader who thrives on transforming operational processes, leveraging new technologies, and aligning strategies with business objectives to drive efficiency.
• Digital Savvy: A strong background in digital transformation, technology implementation, and process automation, with a passion for driving technological solutions across the enterprise.
• M&A Experience: You have hands-on experience in post-acquisition transformation, integrating payables functions to ensure seamless transitions and process alignment.
• Proactive & Solution-Oriented: A catalyst for change, you focus on driving continuous improvement through designing, standardizing, and automating processes while managing risk and compliance.
• Data-Driven: Expertise in analyzing and managing KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) for the Payables team, always seeking ways to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with financial transaction processes beyond Accounts Payable, such as Record-to-Report or Order-to-Cash.
• Professional certifications like CPA or similar are a plus.
