What you’ll be doing

You will lead a team, develop talent, and cultivate an inclusive environment. You will be the finance business partner providing thought leadership across Technology & Product with a primary focus on innovation and productivity in ECS. You will drive financial performance, provide insights, influence strategy, enable product investment, manage cost for a large-scale product and technology organization and identify and execute opportunities to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies. You will also collaborate across the ECS and finance organizations to accomplish business objectives.

 

Job Description

  • Partner closely with Technology & Product Senior Leadership to manage cost, investments, productivity, staffing and other initiatives critical to business success.
  • Own all aspects of the ECS Technology & Product budget, including capital expenditure prioritization, planning and governance.
  • Lead a team responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables, annual budgets, and 5-year strategic planning as it relates to technology, product, innovation, and productivity.
  • Lead financial portfolio management for ECS product development capital spend. Collaborate with the D2C and B2B2C teams to drive effective decision making around capital deployment and ensure proper measurement for optimization of returns.
  • Lead financial aspects of ECS productivity program including partnering on the strategy, key initiatives, and measurement to ensure the business meets productivity targets and maintains a strong pipeline of continued opportunities. Champion productivity initiatives and agile practices across the organization.
  • Partner with Experian’s corporate finance teams to meet deadlines for deliverables (internal and external) and evolve finance practices with digital finance and best-in-class solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and leverage technology in financial processes to create capacity.
  • Recruit, develop, and direct a lean team that partners closely with the business to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Drive an outside-in perspective by understanding and sharing the market landscape. Provide insights for the ECS business based on industry data, benchmarks, and public disclosures from key industry players.
  • Successfully work on multiple projects, understand the details while at the same time be able to advise strategically on big picture challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate strategy, or similar environment, including FP&A.
  • People leadership experience and a history of building high-performing teams.
  • Role model a growth mindset and promote continuous improvement / process efficiency.
  • Expert communicator across different audiences, with significant prior exposure to senior executives
  • A proven track record of partnering with the business to deliver significant financial outcomes.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
