Job Description
The lastminute.com Product team is looking for a new colleague to add in the Customer Payments area! Our product vision is to “build products people love and serve the business”. So as a Senior Product Manager, you love to create great customer experiences.
Experience is definitely important, but we’re looking for a person with the right mindset: proactive, motivated, passionate about creating amazing user experiences, obsessed with data, friendly, team player and an honest and fun person to be around with.
As a Senior Product Manager, you:
- Try to understand the “why” behind our customers’ problems and define strategy and product objectives for the responsible area and beyond
- See your work through the traveler’s eyes, creating solutions for the user journey, thinking beyond its parts
- Are very strong in delivering an amazing user experience together with your cross-functional team
- Work incredibly hard to keep things incredibly simple
- Use lean approaches to break down big ideas into valuable pieces to deliver at fast pace
- Are obsessed with data and skillful in collecting, interpreting and translating data into actionable insights to support product and business decisions (incl. A/B testing, User Testing, Analytics, Market Research, Competitor Analysis, Defining Metrics and KPIs)
- Want to deliver impact, able to influence product management and engineering teams
Qualifications
You’d be a great fit if:
- You have 5+ years of professional experience as a product manager in digital business
- You have previous experience in digital payments in high-traffic B2C e-commerce
- You have experience working with agile and cross functional teams to deliver fast time-to-market quality product increments
- You have experience with research practices both quantitative (e.g. data mining, ab testing) and qualitative (interviews, usability tests, survey)
- You have steered your products to success as defined by the goals you have set
- You have strong communication skills to navigate a dynamic organization across multiple countries and cultures
- You are highly proficient in spoken and written English (we are an international team).
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the product you are responsible for: set its objectives and share your vision building consensus with other business partners
- Lead the product development cycle: from features proposal and prioritization to the end-2-end iterative and incremental delivery and KPIs monitoring
- Manage the complexity thriving to achieve an optimal product, enhancing or killing existing features that are no more match for users’ or business needs
- Be aware of different users behaviors through research and analysis in the various markets
- Support the product development engineer team in their daily tasks, lead the delivery process and the product backlog
- Support other stakeholders and ensure alignment with the business strategy
- Analyze data and results, understand and share learnings from experimentation to build a strong knowledge base of the product outside of your own area
