Position Specific Description

• Primary focus is to interact with internal and external stakeholders, and potentially key end customers, to develop and improve collection strategies which reduce Days Sales Outstanding
• Secondary focus will be vendor management. This position will be primary contact for multiple department vendors and will drive improvement in key performance indicators
• Position will be required to work with multiple business units spanning several customer segments to execute workflow improvement
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings to cross-functional stakeholders and management
• Prepare, analyze, and summarize daily, weekly, and monthly reports for presentation to Manager and Team
• Build complex datasets and analyze and interpret the data spanning credit, fraud, and collections with the assistance of management
• Write beginner-to-intermediate SQL queries to extract data from SQL Server data warehouse for the purpose of data analysis
• Refine and improve KPI reporting in dashboard format for the Credit and Collections Management Team utilizing Power BI
• Work with internal and external teams to resolve systemic or process issues if they arise, and contribute to continuous process improvement 
• Be a key stakeholder in enterprise-wide projects spanning multiple business units and system migrations
• Update, implement, and maintain procedures
• Participate in special projects and perform other activities as needed
• Other duties as required

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 1-3 years’ experience in data analysis or Retail Energy preferred
• Collection, credit, or fraud experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
• Competency in MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI
• Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server a plus
• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem solving skills
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Ability to pay extreme attention to detail
• Excellent documentation skills and must possess growing knowledge of general business office functions
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
