Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program. 
  • Certification by Board of Certification for Athletic Training
  • New York State Athletic Training Licensure (or ability to obtain with 30 days of employment)
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in athletic training

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of working experience in athletic training

Organizationally positioned in the division of Student Affairs, the Center for Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to providing an outstanding student-centered athletic experience through the pursuit of academic and athletic excellence.  We do so within the context of integrity and respect.  The Athletic Trainer will join an exceptional staff who strive to create an unrivaled experience that fosters the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth of our student-athletes in order to prepare them for success as leaders in the global community.

Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer, the Athletic Trainer supports the medical needs for all 22 intercollegiate NCAA Division III sports and 2 Division I sports (men’s and women’s ice hockey).  This person will be responsible for prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses associated with athletes involved in intercollegiate athletics.  The incumbent will adhere to NCA
