Aviation Overnight Senior Operations Manager, Janitorial Services

The Aviation Overnight Senior Operations Manager – Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of janitorial services within an airport environment. This leadership role ensures that all cleaning and facility maintenance activities meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The manager will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and maintain compliance with airport regulations and company policies.

Pay: $55,000.00/yr

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. • Lead and manage janitorial operations across all airport terminals and facilities.
• Supervise and support on-site managers and cleaning staff, ensuring proper staffing and coverage for all shifts.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, quality control procedures, and operational protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, airport regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and payroll processes; report discrepancies to HR.
• Handle employee relations, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports and updates to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with airport stakeholders to address service needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in janitorial operations.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in janitorial operations management, preferably in an aviation or large-scale facility setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills: bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficient in scheduling, payroll systems, and operational reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and airport safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or facilities management preferred.
