If you have strong electrical engineering expertise, experience in validation and product lifecycle management, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, this could be the role for you!</p><p></p><p><b><u>Key Responsibilities</u></b></p><p><b>Product Maintenance &amp; Improvement</b></p><ul><li>Maintain and update electrical systems (2D-3D in CREO 8) in existing products (e.g., motor controllers, harnesses, PCBs, drive, brush, and vacuum motors).</li><li>Manage and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation in PDMLink.</li><li>Evaluate, validate, and approve electrical components and ensure compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Conduct failure analysis and manage technical change processes (TFR handling).</li><li>Drive cost reduction initiatives through component standardization and design optimization.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Manufacturing &amp; Quality Support</b></p><ul><li>Provide troubleshooting support for electrical and electronic failures in manufacturing and field applications.</li><li>Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to resolve design and supplier-related issues.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Project &amp; Development Support</b></p><ul><li>Support New Product Development (NPD) projects by ensuring design continuity and component compatibility.</li><li>Participate in design reviews, FMEA analyses, and certification processes.</li><li>Work closely with suppliers to validate new components and technologies.</li><li>Occasional travel (~10-15 days per year) to suppliers and testing facilities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Profile</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.</li><li>6+ years of experience in electrical product design, validation, or manufacturing support.</li><li>Strong CAD experience (CREO preferred) for electrical system design and documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical product standards and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Self-motivated, well-organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.</li><li>Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Hungarian is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Nice to Have</b></p><ul><li>Experience in battery-powered devices and motor control systems.</li><li>Knowledge of household and industrial safety standards.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li>Personal and professional growth in a dynamic multinational environment.</li><li>A workplace culture that promotes autonomy, learning, and innovation.</li><li>Scandinavian company values with a focus on sustainability and work-life balance.</li><li>Nilfisk Health Program (mental health support, sports activities, and health check-ups).</li><li>Cafeteria benefits and commuting allowance.</li><li>Complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh fruit throughout the week.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Join Us?</b></p><p>At Nilfisk, we foster a collaborative and engaging work environment where your expertise will directly impact the performance and reliability of our industry-leading products.
