Mobile App Developer

Market America, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Mobile Apps Developer

for our IT team.

Position Summary

Delivers the entire mobile application life cycle including concept, design, building, deployment, testing, and release to app stores and support. Optimizes performance of mobile applications. Collaborates with necessary parties to accomplish duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Develops and maintains mobile applications

•Builds iOS applications and Android applications.

•Writes mobile applications using best techniques, design patterns, and industry standards.

•Deploys iOS applications to the iTunes App Store and Android apps to Google Play.

•Participates in the development of application design and collaborates with business analyst and mobile UX designer to determine detailed tasks.

•Collaborates with other technical leads to determine system integration design.

•Identifies and communicates risks and issues to appropriate personnel.

•Collaborates with needed parties to find and resolve defects, to determine timelines and tasks, and to diagnose and resolve development-related performance issues.

•Participates in the requirements-gathering process for effective functionality and solutions.

•Collaborates with appropriate parties to conceptualize, build, test, and release products.

•Standardize the platform and apps, when need, to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.

•Remains current on latest industry trends in mobile technologies.

Education and Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

•One to three years of experience in development and maintenance of React Native, Objective-C or Java applications, Cocoa Touch frameworks, Android SKD, HTML5, m-commerce, and mobile prototypes.

•Or a combination of equivalent education, experience, and/or training.

Skills

•Proficient use of MS Office Products, JavaScript, React native, Objective C, and Java.

•English reading comprehension, speaking, and writing, active listening; critical thinking, complex problem solving, operations analysis, and systems analysis and evaluations.
