Job Summary 

Member of team responsible for device modeling of pSemi’s patented high-performance UltraCMOS(TM) process technology. The candidate will work closely with modeling engineers to deliver measurement data for model extraction and device analysis. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities 

This position has responsibility for: 

  • Methodology development for DC and RF measurement systems 

  • Detail analytical analysis of characterization data to investigate non-classical behavior. 

  • Provide required equipment specifications for advanced measurement system configuration. 

  • Develop automation scripts to reduce measurement time. 

  • Model manual and internal web-site updates

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills) 

  • Familiarity with measurement system for advanced characterization (DC IV, CV, S-parameters) 

  • Understanding of semiconductor and RF theory 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Understanding of RF device physics, measurements, and model extraction 

  • Basic understanding of advanced RF measurements (S-parameters, Load-Pull, Pulsed IV, etc) 

  • Coursework in semiconductor device physics and IC design 

  • Knowledge of Matlab or Python programing languages 

  • Experience with Keysight’s ADS or Cadence Virtuoso simulation software 

  • Experience with Keysight’s IC-CAP 

  • Basic understanding of FET and HBT devices 

  • Previous experience as an Intern or a similar role 

 

Education Requirements 

  • BS EE or related field
