Associate Manager, Improve Plant

Your key responsibilities
- Champion a proactive safety culture by enforcing dsm-firmenich Life Saving Rules and SHE procedures across all project activities.
- Lead development of safety documentation including PTWs and JSAs, and manage high-risk activities such as hot work, crane lifts, and confined space entry.
- Oversee contractor SHE compliance through ISNet verification, audits, and regular phased safety assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and execute detailed construction plans, budgets, schedules, and ensure timely completion with full regulatory and internal compliance.
- Manage all aspects of contractor onboarding, site execution, inspections, and project closeout, including punch lists and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to resolve issues, coordinate testing, and ensure accurate turnover documentation including PSI and redlines.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management preferred; PMP certification (to be completed within the first 12 months) and OSHA 30-hour training a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project management or related field, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Ability to lead complex construction projects, manage capital budgets, and oversee contractor performance
- Understanding of construction management principles, project execution, and safety best practices
- Knowledge with SHE compliance systems such as ISNet, and familiarity with MoC processes and permitting requirements
- Committed to upholding safety standards and driving project success from planning through closeout
