Requisition Summary

Kenworth Division of PACCAR is looking for a highly motivated student who is interested in gaining professional experience in an industry-leading manufacturing company to join our Service Technical Publications group. Internships are scheduled to begin in May or June 2024

 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

In this role, interns will work to support and manage dealer and customer facing publications such as service bulletins, operator manuals, and service manuals, performing a combination of the following functions:

  • Review published service literature to enhance coverage for truck options
  • Review and update supplier information
  • Enhance technical publications dashboards
  • Research and update locally sourced repair information
  • Review bulletins for obsoleting and archiving
  • Reorganize bulletin writing guides to improve training/reference materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Skills / Competencies

  • General knowledge of automotive systems/components
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficient PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a team player and able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

 

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Business, and other applicable areas of study) in process, in junior or senior standing preferred

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
