Executive Chef Kelli Crosson sources only the best local provisions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests dine in a timbered indoor-outdoor dining room overlooking the 18th hole of Torrey Pines Golf Course.

SUMMARY
The Bartender ("Cantinero/a") serves each guest with the highest standard of professionalism, courtesy and enthusiasm to make the guest's day/evening enjoyable. Serves beverages to patrons seated at the bar and to cocktail servers servicing the lounge.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Mix and correctly serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the restaurant and bar, following standard recipes and techniques.
• Maintain current knowledge of ingredients, such as liquor, wine, and other items.
• Solicit, promote and serve drinks in an efficient and courteous fashion with a smile.
• Stock and set up of bar equipment and station according to department standards.
• Verify patrons ID, as required.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
• Prior experience in a fine dining restaurant environment preferred. 
• Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
• Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the company’s expense. 
• RBS certification required. 
• Availability to work on weekend
