The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is to provide support to the PROS, P8 Navy Repair & Return and other programs performing a variety of warehouse routine and specialized functions involving processing of parts and equipment. Perform shipping and receiving functions, scheduling and completing equipment pickup and deliveries, inventory management duties conducted within OHSA standards. Assist with logistical support on assigned supply and maintenance repairs applicable to the PROS and other programs. Verify documentation completeness and accuracy prior to final processing. Interface with Logistics Specialists, Financial Specialists, and Logistics Leads to coordinate assigned functions. Document assigned actions into database systems supporting the contract; furnish data and reports as required; and initiate follow-up action to ensure timely delivery of items.
Warehouse Logistics
- Process parts and equipment through the PROS and F-15 warehouse and update the respective Management Information System (Database).
- Manage assigned warehouse inventory.
- Perform shipping and receiving functions.
- Coordinate carrier selection, dispatch, and track shipment from origin through destination to ensure accurate delivery of equipment/parts.
- Perform data entry and database processing for receipt, invoicing, and shipping of equipment/parts.
- Complete assigned data inputs into program database and review completed files to verify accurate documentation.
- Provide support and data as requested for administrative purposes and in support of the Quality Management System

Warehouse Equipment and Safety
- Perform duties within OSHA standards and requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment such as lifts, banding machines, forklift, etc.
- Ensure material is packaged for shipment IAW applicable military standards.
- Must perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Understand, operate under, and strictly adhere to all safety/quality guidelines, initiatives and trainings.

CORE JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Associates degree in related discipline from an accredited university/college is preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of warehouse logistics support experience with an established aerospace or global logistics company is preferred.
- Experience in all types of shipping preferred to include but not limited to hazardous materials, large freight, and overseas shipments
Licenses/ Certification/ Registration
- Current drivers’ license, proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the US.
- Ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain a security clearance.
- Forklift Operator’s license preferred
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities
- A thorough knowledge of MIL-STD 2073, MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130 is a plus.
- Must have excellent English language skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Must display a thorough knowledge of document management and working knowledge of general business principles and practices.
- Must show proficiency with computers, software and general office equipment. Intermediate or higher proficiency using Microsoft Office programs specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have outstanding attention to detail and data input skills.
