SENIOR ASSOCIATE – TALENT LIFECYCLE DELIVERY SERVICES - ELMAC REGION (HR SHARED SERVICES)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this vital role, you will join the HR Talent Lifecycle Service Delivery team in Lisbon, supporting HR service delivery across the ELMAC region (Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada). You will act as a senior member of the regional HR Operations team, managing complex cases and ensuring high-quality execution of Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes within Amgen’s global tiered HR service delivery model (Tier 1 centralized support in India and Tier 2 regional resolution).

  • Regional Escalation & Case Management
    • Manage and resolve complex Tier 1 escalations across the ELMAC region, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant resolution.
    • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), Payroll, Legal, and local HR teams to resolve cross-functional and multi-country cases.
    • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.
    • Support knowledge base updates and training initiatives to reduce future escalations.
    • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Hire-to-Retire (H2R) Service Delivery
    • Execute and oversee HR transactions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal mobility, leaves, job changes, data updates, terminations, and offboarding.
    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance within Workday and related HR systems.
    • Handle sensitive employee cases with discretion and professionalism.
    • Ensure consistent application of global process standards while considering local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Systems & Process Expertise
    • Act as a key user of Workday and ServiceNow, supporting case management and HR transaction processing.
    • Provide guidance to junior team members on system usage and process adherence.
    • Contribute to system enhancements, testing activities, and process documentation updates.
    • Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation within the region.
  • Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency.
    • Contribute to automation and digital enhancement initiatives within HR service delivery.
    • Monitor case trends and provide insights to the manager to improve service quality and reduce rework.
    • Participate in regional and global HR projects as a subject matter expert.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Build strong working relationships with local HR teams and cross-functional partners across multiple countries.
    • Provide clear, professional communication to employees and HR stakeholders.
    • Represent Talent Lifecycle Delivery Services in operational discussions when required.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Service Delivery, preferably in a multinational or regional environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex HR cases across multiple countries.
