Finance Intern

We’re looking for a talented intern to join our Finance team at Rossum!

As an intern in the Finance department of Rossum, you will gain a broad understanding of the accounting procedures and processes in an international organization. During your internship, you will understand how the SaaS business model works; have an opportunity to work with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting system (NetSuite); and be able to interact with staff in Rossum’s offices in the UK and in the US. This will also give you the opportunity to work with people from different countries and cultures.

You'll be a right fit if you:

• Are studying in a field related to finance or accounting
• Great communication skills in English (working language is English)
• Are eager to learn
• Are honest and evidence-based. You base your opinions on data but with cling to it in the face of good arguments.
• Have proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite(specifically Excel and Word)

In this role you can expect to:

• Support corporate financing activities
• Assist with collecting supporting information for the annual audit 
• Assist with collecting tax documents and approvals related to our expense management tool
• Include relevant journal entries in the accounting system
• Shadow accounting department staff members 
• Check and reconcile business trip reports
