Senior Process Engineer – Comminution and Processing

Position Overview:
The Senior Process Engineer, Comminution and Processing will play a critical role in advancing our expertise in HPGR technology and grinding circuits. This highly technical role is designed for a PhD-level engineer with a deep understanding of mineral processing, focusing on HPGR applications, process optimization, and technical solutions for mining and industrial operations.
This position will work closely with the Technical Director and global R&D teams, supporting capital sales, operations, and aftermarket services. As a key technical resource, the Senior Process Engineer will be instrumental in developing best practices, conducting field studies, and providing technical leadership in HPGR applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & HPGR Specialization:
· Develop in-depth expertise in HPGR technology, positioning as the company’s primary technical resource for this product line.
· Conduct process simulations, modeling, and advanced analysis to optimize grinding circuits.
· Lead benchmarking studies comparing HPGR with conventional milling technologies, identifying process efficiency gains.
· Contribute to HPGR design improvements and operational best practices in collaboration with global R&D and product development teams.
Process Development & Optimization:
· Work closely with customers, sales teams, and operations to assess HPGR performance in real-world applications.
· Develop methodologies to analyze and optimize comminution circuits, ensuring peak performance.
· Participate in pilot-scale and full-scale HPGR testing, interpreting data and providing actionable insights.
· Support the Technical Director in new technology development and research initiatives.
Customer & Project Support:
· Provide technical support to capital sales teams, guiding customers in selecting the most efficient comminution solutions.
· Participate in site visits, plant audits, and technical evaluations to troubleshoot performance issues.
· Assist in developing customer training programs to enhance understanding and adoption of HPGR technology.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
· Act as a technical liaison between internal teams, customers, and research institutions.
· Work alongside product management, sales, and aftermarket teams to ensure HPGR technology is properly integrated and supported.
· Present findings, case studies, and research papers at industry conferences and technical forums.
Qualifications & Experience:
· PhD in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
