Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all aspects of shipping/receiving and warehousing, including overseeing Shipping Clerks and all Material Handlers on all shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are shipped in a timely manner with accurate counts and containers
• ASN’s sent within 30 minutes of customer trucks leaving our dock
• Check customer portals after ASN is sent to ensure that it was received
• Print all customer requirements for the day and check the inventory. If short, report shortage to the Material’s Department
• Make sure the warehouse is clean and organized at all times
• Receive in all materials from suppliers. Check box quantities to receivers to make sure quantities are correct.
• Work closely with the Materials Department for all customer service requirements including domestic and international. Prepare all shipments in appropriate shipping containers per customer requirements.

Required Education, Experience & Training:

• 2 years of college & 3 years related experience or high school diploma and 5 years related experience
• Good working knowledge of Excel & MS Office Products
• Working knowledge of QAD is a plus
• Familiarity with customer portals (Ford, Chrysler, GM, Nissan, etc.)
• Basic shipping & receiving knowledge
