Job Description

To hyperscale, we’re hiring a VP, Global Public Sector Mission Solutions: This is a highly visible and critical executive role leading the design of programs that will leverage new and existing solutions for the market. This team will be charged with Identifying and developing best practices across geographies/countries to ensure each country reaches its full potential in their Public Sector business.

• Report directly to the Head, Global Public Sector
• Lead a team of seven director-level direct reports responsible for the GPS mission (areas) centers: Public Safety, Tax & Revenue, Public Health, Infrastructure & Transportation, Housing & Social Services, Defense & Security Ops, and Higher Education.
• Partner with the VP of Mission Success (GTM) to drive Public Sector thought leadership and build an integrated and influential strategy for expanded in ServiceNow in the Public Sector market.
• Partner closely with solution and field marketing leaders to develop relevant and engaging assets.
• Orchestrate cross-functional engagement across highly matrixed environment to secure allyship for, and investment across, a rapidly changing Public Sector technology landscape.
• Collaborate with executive leaders within the product organization to optimize existing Public Sector market solutions, and customer segmentation models to address unique Public Sector legal, regulatory and product requirements.
• Introduce Public Sector blueprints, solutioning, SI/ISV partner co-building and business innovation to capture capabilities and drive scale and depth to product solution motions globally.
• Deliver continuous transformation by infusing deep Public Sector expertise, standards and ethics across global sales and product teams, aligning domains and geographies to shifting technology, market, and procurement trends.
• Lead strategy of across domain organization that includes multiple public sector mission areas, including by not limited to, Citizen Engagement and Experience, Infrastructure and Transportation, Higher Education and Defense and Security..
• Monitor global challenges and opportunities, identify best growth practices across all markets, and maintain connections with key global players both internally and externally.
• Identify key customer business imperatives to ServiceNow capabilities; Regularly meet with customers and partners to gather feedback, and internally vet and test these imperatives.
• This is a highly visible and critical executive role leading the design of programs that will leverage new and existing solutions for the market. Leads a team charged with Identifying and developing best practices across geographies / countries to ensure each country reaches its full potential in their Public Sector business.

Qualifications

Expert-level experience and qualifications to be successful in this role include:

• 15+ years of experience working at an executive level in the Federal government (US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, or Australia) or experience leading with in high-tech company’s Public Sector Go to Market or Solutions area.
