Veterinary Technician / Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Peoria Area Veterinary Group is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! Proudly serving the Peoria area for more than 50 years, our veterinary team is dedicated to providing high-quality medicine and exceptional patient and client care for our community. • Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
• Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication
• Provide compassionate care and support to clients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and patient areas
• Continually advance your knowledge base and skill set

What We’re Looking For:

• At least one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Ability to work well in a team and handle stressful situations in a calm manner
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment

Compensation:

• The hourly rate for this position is $17.20 - $25.93, dependent on experience.
